Jay-Z + Live Nation = $150 Million

Jay-Z is in negotiations to close a deal with Live Nation reportedly worth $150 million.

The deal would be the biggest music contract ever awarded.

The deal includes financing for his own entertainment venture (he was looking for $100 million to get started), in addition to recordings and tours for the next decade.

Jay-Z has to put out one more Def Jam album and then he's done. He's rumored to be starting up his own Carter Music Group and this just may be one way to get that accomplished.
