Nas & MoveOn.org to Protest Fox News
Nas along with MoveOn.org and ColorOfChange.org will be protesting Fox News headquarters in Manhattan today. They will be demanding the network stop what is perceived to be a “pattern of racist attacks against Black Americans including presidential candidate Barack Obama and his wife Michelle.”
They will be delivering a petition with 600,000 signatures to the company.
Nas' new album has a song that is directed towards Fox News called, "Sly Fox". Check the video of him performing it live.

Detox Coming At The End Of This Year
Dr. Dre spoke to USA Today and stated that his LONG overdue album, Detox may finally be released at the end of this year. We all know that Dr. Dre never puts an album out unless he is completely satisfied with it.

"I'm just now -- over the last couple of months -- starting to feel that it's going to be right and it's something I can be proud of, and everybody is going to love it," he said. "In a perfect world, I'm shooting for a November or December release. I just make the music feel the way I want it to feel and I don't put it out until I'm totally happy with it. Then it does what it does. I'm going to put this record out, promote it, tour and then become a hermit. I'm going to stay in the studio and produce."
Sounds like we won't get another album after Detox, but some fire beats are on the way!

Jackie-O Had To F**k For Her Money?
MediaTakeOut.com just got word that in the latest issue of Hip Hop Weekly magazine, Miami rapper Jackie O made some explosive allegations. Here's what she told the magazine:Everybody that signed [to Poe Boy] had gotten their advance money, but when it came time for me to get my advance, I had to f-ck for my advance. It was ten stacks ($10,000) and I had to f-ck for it. So naturally it wasn't something that I'm proud of doing. And I don't advise any female to get into no business - be it music or whatever - and get exploited like that ...
"[E Class] told me I had to have sex with him to get the ten stacks. That's how me and him got into a relationship. But that was the situation I had to face, and I made the wrong turn. But I'm from the hood and if somebody offers you ten thousand dollars at one time to get out of the hood, and lets you go for your dream of doing music, you're gonna run to that.
